Glücklich Hallo Wien!

Hi everyone! So i've had an incredibly hard time deciding what to be for halloween. I promised myself that I would make more of an effort this year as I haven't celebrated halloween in years. I've never been much of a halloween person (i think this dates back to my childhood when I wasn't happy about the fact that halloween often overshadowed my birthday, which is on the 27/10) but for some reason I woke up this morning feeling excited that it was Halloween and immediately decided that I would be a unicorn. I'm not quite sure how I came to this decision. Anyway, I hopped out of bed and made a horn using left over party hats from my birthday party, printer paper & lots of tape while watching 'X-Men: Evolution' on YouTube (i'm not quite sure how i've gotten hooked on this show...). Then I threw together an outfit - having too much white in my wardrobe has finally come in handy.
I love how my sweater and skirt (which is actually a dress) have texture to them, like the fur of a unicorn. The two buns in my hair that are tied in white ribbon are suppose to be reminiscent of a unicorn's ears - i thought that was quite a cute touch. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any white tights or leggings but I suppose that's what I get for being so last minute! - I'm proud of the fact that I didn't have to buy anything for my costume though. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my super last minute halloween costume.
P.S. I decided to call this post 'Glücklich Hallo Wien' as my German teacher informed us yesterday that here in Vienna they call Halloween "Hallo Wien". I found this much funnier than I probably should have (Glücklich = Happy, Hallo = Hello, Wien = Vienna).
Also, this post is kind of late but as you can see this costume isn't very scary (although I would personally be scared, as well as amazed, if I actually saw a unicorn) so you could wear it to any costume party!
